I’ve retained a lot of water because I’m on birth control. Anyhow, would I loose more water weight than a woman who is not on birth control in a sauna?

I bought the sauna suit and used it once so far but I heard from a few people that once you loose the water weight, you gain it all back after re-hydrating is that true? I also heard from a few people that if you dont drink water than the suit wont work, which is true?

I’m starting a new diet and exercise plan to lose about 5-10 pounds. I’ve heard that when you use the sauna, you lose water weight, and gain it back when you drink fluids. However, if you were to use the sauna a few times a week for 15-30 minutes, could it help me lose the weight in the long run?
Also, if the sauna increases your metabolism, would it be beneficial to use it right before you exercise?

I’ve heard this discussion for years. I’m currently taking an AP physics course and we’ve learned how your body burns calories in order to keep your body temperature normal. And this processes causes sweat, which is the water your body uses to burn that energy which evaporates and then condenses on the outside of your skin. Therefore technically, being in a sauna will burn calories since your body needs burn energy to cool you down. How come people insist that the weight you lose is just "water weight". Your body had to get the energy from some where.

I know that sauna burn mostly water weight….But ive hear from Alot of sources it burns calories. So wouldn’t this help burn the fat? I know cardio is a part of it as well but i include that into basketball i play about 2 hours. I work up a good swear doin so.

people tell me that sauna suits are not that helpful because you just lose water Weight but isn’t same without the sauna suit
plus i don’t even know what they are referring to water Weight? please explain and who can i burn fat instead of water Weight?

Is it supposed to hydrate you more so you can stay in the sauna longer? Does it restore needed electrolytes? Or does it actually help to loose water weight even faster versus not drinking water?
