My jucuzzi bathtub has build up in the jets. When you run it with the jetts on, pieces of "stuff" comes out. It is small, like flakes and dark colored. How do I clean this and prevent this from happening-what products do I use. I dont want to use it again until it is throughly cleaned. How do you guys do it?

Do I need to flush the system periodically? If so, how and how often?
This is a home bathtub that is only used about once a month, so nothing "industrial" is needed. I just remember reading something about needing to flush the system every so often and don’t know how to do that.

What can you use to clean your bathtub jacuzzi? When we turn on the jets, there is black stuff that comes out of them. What could we do to clean out the jets?

I’m thinking of installing a bathtub with jacuzzi jets to help my back. What is the average cost of installing just a jacuzzi tub, or converting a tub to a jacuzzi tub? What is the cheapest way to do it, and where should I go?

My parents recently bought a bathtub with jacuzzi jets. I want to buy my mother a nice gift for her new bathroom but don’t know what kind of bath products can be used in the tub with jets.
I have been advised that certain products would mess up the jets in the tub. Nobody seems to have a definitive answer. Are there certain brands better than others?
