What are the benefits of using one from the other? I hear people arguing that saunas are better than steam rooms. And I’ve also heard the same argument reversed.
Right now I’m on the treadmill for 30-mins. Then I do a solid 15-minutes of abdominals. Just this week started lifting weights. (Working exclusively on my chest right now) After I’m done I love to sit in the whirlpool (Jacuzzi) for 15-mins. Should I introduce the sauna or the steam room after my workouts? (Please don’t take away my whirlpool)

I’m extremely sore from muscle training 3 times this past week. I want to go to the gym and do about 45 minutes of cardio today, this should help with the muscle repair, correct??
Also, my gym has a dry sauna. Would it be smart to spend about 15 minutes in there after finishing my cardio and stretching? I have heard that it will help relieve some soreness and keep it from being so bad later. Thanks!
I heard that if you sit in a sauna for 15 minutes you burn the same amount of calories as if you were to do cardio for 15 minutes. Is that true?
Ever since college when I’d go sit in the sauna after the gym just because roommates were sitting in there, I’ve gone in for 10-15 minutes after a workout. And I guess I never stopped to analyze WHY. What does it do for the body?
Will it harm an electric sauna stove if it gets wet when it’s not on?
Also is there a simple reason why the stove will shut off automatically after about 15 minutes even if the timer is set to an hour or more? We think it might be a problem with the sensor that’s mounted on the wall that we assume measures the temperature as a safety shut off kinda thing. Thanks!
