Jacuzzi
My jucuzzi bathtub has build up in the jets. When you run it with the jetts on, pieces of "stuff" comes out. It is small, like flakes and dark colored. How do I clean this and prevent this from happening-what products do I use. I dont want to use it again until it is throughly cleaned. How do you guys do it?

DO NOT USE BLEACH – it makes your seals leak when they get dried out. Try professional product, dish detergent will work or idione for santize.

There are Jacuzzi cleaners made.
I use a tub of hot water with about a cup of bleach.
I wish you the best.

The black stuff is mold that has built up inside the tubes, probably because it wasn’t run for a long time. You need to run a jacuzzi periodically to keep the lines clear.
Check with the manufacturer; you can run a tube full of water and add some mildewcide or bleach, then run the jets for a while. You will probably have to do this more than once, and make it a part of your regular maintenance.

Stop using soap in the jacuzzi.
Check with Home Dept as they have other cleaners just for these.
Vinegar and water – don’t use harsh chemicals as you must remember, they will mix with your skin later.
GOD bless.
