I am concerned about the usage of Sauna belts which are commercially available in the market. I would like to know if there are any side effects. Also does the skin tone get darker as the body gets slimmer? And if we lose weight, how long does it last?

I currently take 30 mg of valium for general anxiety every day, and I want to know if it is safe to use saunas/jacuzzis while under its sedative properties.

Does it help you lose weight? Is it bad for your skin? I want to go to one, but I don’t want to spend a lot of money on nothing. Is the steam just for relaxation or does it have other benefits as well?

I just joined a gym and they have a (dry) sauna there but I’ve never been in one. I’m not sure what you are supposed to wear since you will be sweating so much but if more than one person is able to come in you don’t want to be naked. Should you just wrap yourself in a towel?

Also, I have a problem with dry skin. So I’m not sure if a sauna would be good for me or not.

My health club has a bowl of water with a ladle in in it. The sauna is heated with an electric heater with rocks in it.
Someone said to pour over the rocks, the rocks are inside a heater that is electric. Is that safe?

I know it’s mostly just sitting in the sauna but does all the sweat mean any calories are being lost? I take 5lbs weights in there to work my arms because I feel silly just sitting there.

I heard that Sauna/hot tub helps you to sweat some pounds off. And of course is not healthy for your body to stay a long time. but, how long is it allowed?? how many times a day? and which helps you sweat the pounds off faster? sauna? or hot tub?
