Jacuzzi
This is new to me. I was not aware that there is a hole big enough to suck up anything. surely there should be a trick to getting the towel out. now the tub only hums. i quickly turned it off after i realized i could’t retrieve the towel. I also turned it back on thinking it would spit it back to me. That didn’t happen. Please someone help me? I have only been in my new house 1 month. The tub is 20 years old. It was serviced during the inspection of the house and found to be in working order prior to this incident.

You need to get into where the pump is housed. Once there locate the intake pipe. disconnect it from the pump. It should be right there if not, push a strong wire through the pipe till you it push back out where it entered. When you put the intake back together besure to put new laytex pipe tape on the threads.Had the same thing happen to me last year at a motel. Take your time and enjoy your home.

oooohhhh, that’s a tricky one, try get a long stick with a pin on the top and hook the pin through the towel and pull it out if possible, if you cant do that then you probably have to get a plumber to fix it, when you ring the plumber try to get some advise from them and see if you can fix it yourself then!!
good luck!!

OK i have dealt with this problem before. you will have to get to the pump, nothing else will do ! you will have to take the front off of the pump to get out the towel. if you call a plumber , if you can take the front off of the tub so he does not have to and charge you more.
pool and spa man !

If you have to ask, call a plumber.
