Portable Sauna FAQs
I currently take 30 mg of valium for general anxiety every day, and I want to know if it is safe to use saunas/jacuzzis while under its sedative properties.

Yes they depress you anxiety and can make you tired or sleepy and the heat could make it dangerous to your body. One never knows how one will react to meds at a given time. Anything that may make you drowsy or sleepy along with the heat of the sauna or jacuzzi can make for a dangerous situation. You could drown. If you want to try it, go in with someone who knows what you are taking and stay for a short while to see how you will react. I wouldn’t go alone on these types of meds in there ever.
