I am trying to convert the power from 120v to 220v. I bought the transformer that is supposed to convert it to 220v 3000w but it was getting hotter when I was running 120v straight to the sauna.. PLEASE help I would hate to have to tear down the sauna.

We use bromide and our tub is 480 gallons. Our water has turned green after about a week.
